Good News!

I'm o.k. I had to go to the cardiologist because there is a lot of history of heart problems in my family. 2 of my cousins have congenital heart defects and one of them has had open heart surgery and has a pacemaker. I think some of you know I have Vocal Cord Dysfunction and I'm still learning performance breathing and how to control it. Anyway, they wanted to make sure there wasn't a problem with my heart. They were looking for birth defects and for the thickening of the walls of the heart. Have you ever heard of athletes being perfectly healthy and then they just tip over and die all the sudden? Well, they wanted to make sure that didn't happen to me. I had a heart echo (ultrasound that took an hour) and an E.K.G and 2 doctors checking me out. I'm so HAPPY! They said everything looked good and I am completely normal. :0) LOOK OUT GUYS! HE SAID I'M HEALTHY AND ENCOURAGED ME TO DO ANYTHING I WANT TO DO IN MARTIAL ARTS! NO RESTRICTIONS!
BTW! Thank you for thinking of me!

Good news!

Glad to hear that you are well. Times like these remind us that we are mortal and that our time here is limited (guess this depends on your religious views).

Make your life count Mariah. Become the salt of this earth and make this world a better place.

I know you can do it.

Enjoy each moment. You have been blessed with some serious skills and people that care for you.

Glad to hear all is well! Speaking as someone who has had the devine kick in the butt, I am glad you didn't get one. :-)

Now...go hit some one with a stick...or maybe two...
